We took inspiration from the interior architecture of the lovingly restored St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel. The rich palette of prints and patterns featured within the collection designed exclusively for St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel can be seen in the stunning wallpapers, porcelain tiles and frescos throughout. In particular, the St. Pancras Barlow Blue of the Hansom Hall features as a pretty lace pattern and the gold foiled 'Stardust' Luxe Invitation takes its lead from the vaulted ceiling of the Grand Staircase.
We'd like to thank Brides the Show for this perfect pairing. The wonderful Olivia Parrott (Director of Event Management) was showcasing the super stylish wedding venue St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel at the show back in October 2013, and the rest, - is history! We say it's the beginning of a beautiful relationship. Special thanks to St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel for allowing us to rifle through their epic collection of prints and patterns to create this varied and stunning collection of wedding stationery.
The collection will be on show at the 'Wedding Journey' on Sunday March 9th at St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel. Couples are invited to experience first-hand what a wedding at the hotel could look like during this unique journey through the hotel.
In the 1960s, Sir George Gilbert Scott’s neo gothic Midland Grand Hotel was described as being “too beautiful and too romantic to survive”. Thankfully, after a £150 million investment, the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel re-opened in 2011 to once again become “The most romantic building in London” (Evening Standard, February 2010). The romance and history of such a building provides the perfect backdrop for a wedding. During the ‘Wedding Journey’, couples will be guided through the building to explore all of the key event spaces. The hotel’s wedding planners will be on hand to answer any questions, alongside preferred suppliers including Pinstripes and Peonies florist, Abigail Bloom Cake Company, Mark Bothwell photography, the Complete Event Hire production team, Sternberg Clarke entertainment and (yours truly!) Eagle Eyed Bride stationers.
Guests will be invited to ascend the Grand Staircase and enjoy the stunning backdrop which provides an incredible setting for wedding photography. They will then be led through to The Gallery, where a ceremony set up will mean they can experience walking under crystal chandeliers and down the aisle. On entering the historical Ladies Smoking Room, guests will sip on champagne and sample canapés created by the hotel Chefs to get a better appreciation for what a pre-dinner reception could look like. Finally, walking into Hansom Hall, transformed to showcase a dinner and dance, will give guests a real sense of what their evening celebrations might feel like.
Please contact Madeline Dawkins on email@example.com to confirm your attendance. We hope to see you there!
